Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Mabamba
Upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, the driver guide from Engagi Safaris will be waiting for you. Meet, greet, and go for an experimental bird watching experience in Mabamba swamp, home to the iconic shoebill stork. Embark on a boat ride through the swamp, looking out for the shoebill and other bird species that reside there. Dinner and overnight at Victoria Rock Resort
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Following a heavy breakfast, check out and embark on a drive to Kibale Forest National Park, the Primate Capital of Africa in western Uganda. Â You will have a stop at the equator for refreshment and photography. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Lodge/Kibale Forest Camp
Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking & Bigodi
Very early today, have breakfast and transfer to the Kanyanchu visitor information centre for a chimpanzee trekking adventure. You will be allocated one chimpanzee community to visit. Spend an hour in the company of the chimpanzees, enjoy their humanly characters and have fun with man’s close relatives. After seeing the chimpanzees, hike down and drive back to your hotel for refreshment. Arrive in the afternoon, check in, and refresh. You will then go for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland, home to various birds, primates, reptiles, and other animals, among others. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Lodge
Day 4: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have breakfast, check out, and embark on a drive to Lake Bunyonyi in the south-western Uganda. Engage in some activities at Bunyonyi, such as boat cruising to the islands of the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Rock resort
Day 5: 1st Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest
Wake up early, have a heavy breakfast, and with packed lunch, drive to Ruhija park headquarters for registration and pre-gorilla trekking briefing. You will be allocated one gorilla family to trek. At 8:00 am, two armed park rangers will guide you into the jungle forest searching for the endangered gorillas. The trek lasts for between 2-7 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. The allowed time with the gorillas is strictly an hour from the time you meet them. Later in the day, drive to Kisoro for dinner and overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel

Day 6: Batwa cultural trail
Have breakfast and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for Batwa cultural trail. The experience involves trekking into the forest to experience the traditional practices of batwa pygmies. Batwa local guides will lead you into the forest performing some of their practices such as collecting honey, hunting, picking medicinal herbs and visiting Ngarama caves, among others. Day 7: Optional 2nd gorilla trekking in Maghinga ($800)
Have breakfast, have lunch and transfer back to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for gorilla trekking. You will first be registered and briefed on the dos and don’ts and do of gorilla trekking. Enjoy an encounter with the one and only Nyakegyezi family, have fun, and enjoy this lifetime experience. Dinner and overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel
Day 8: Golden monkey trekking & transfer to Bunyonyi
Following an early breakfast, drive back to Ntebeko visitor information centre for a golden monkey trekking experience. Start with registration and pre-trekking briefing. The actual trek begins at 8:00 am, lasting for between 2-5 hours. Spend an hour in the company of the lively creatures, take memorable photos and enjoy the magical encounter. Later on, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Rock resort
Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe
Have a relaxed sunrise breakfast, check out, and transfer to Kampala. Enjoy a drive via Kigezi rolling hills, Ankole cattle farms, and several local communities en route. Dinner and overnight at Victoria Rock Resort
Day 10: Fly to Kilimanjaro – Arusha
Have breakfast and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your connecting flight to Kilimanjaro International airport in Tanzania. Upon arrival, refresh and transfer to Arusha city. If time allows, you will visit craft shops in the city Centre. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Arusha
Day 11: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous because of the large population of elephants that inhabits this sanctuary and the majestic and impressive baobab trees. Dinner and Overnight at Martinas Retreat
Day 11: Transfer to  Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive out the park headed to Serenengeti National park located , home to the famous annual wildebeest migration. Dinner and overnight at Moyo tented camp
Day 12: Â Explore Serengeti National Park
Your breakfast will be served early and then head to the Central Serengeti to spend your day observing the different wildlife species. The major highlight of this day is the visit to the Seronera valley where you will have a chance to watch a variety of wildlife including hyenas, leopards, lions, buffalos, hippos, topis, giraffes, and gazelles among others. Our guides will ensure to take you to the best game viewing spots to catchup with all the available wildlife there. Return to the lodge later for your dinner and overnight at Moyo Tented Cmp
Day 13: Full Day in Serengeti
This is another full day of exploring the beauty and gem in Serengeti National park. You can take part in different activities such as hot air balloon, Nature walks, and bush meals among others. Dinner and overnight at Moyo Tented Camp
 Day 14: Drive to Ngorongoro National park
Early today, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game-viewing experience in the open side of this conservation area. Drive to Ngorongoro where we will descend down in the Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunches. Where more than 25000 mammals inhabit, including the black rhino which are in extinction danger. Expect to see lions, jackals, hyenas, leopards, and cheetahs dominate this area and other antelopes, buffalos, zebras, rhinos, hippos, wildebeests, waterbucks, gazelles and many bird species are also seen here. Dinner and Overnight at Siafu Serenit Lodge .
Day 15: Drive to the airport
