This 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari is all inclusive tour that rewards you with the African big five game and the world’s mighty waterfall Murchison falls, encounter with the most sought after bird shoe bill, Murchison Falls National Park is home to the highest concentration of animals which include 76 species of Mammals and 451 birds, the park is 3840 square kilometers and was gazetted in 1952 Here is a bucket list of animals that you will see in Murchison Falls; Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Giraffes, Antelopes, Hyenas, warthogs during the boat cruise you will see big schools of Hippos, Crocodiles, Shoe bill and many other birds. You will also visit Ziwa Rhino and wild life Sanctuary it is a private non-profit ranch located in Nakasongola District governed by Uganda Rhino Fund, it is 72 sq. km in size. Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild. The Sanctuary is a home to 40 mammals, reptiles’ species and many birds that include the Shoebill.
On the third day you will Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest the largest natural forest reserve and a home to the biggest number of chimpanzees in Uganda it is 825 square Kilometers located in the North West part of Uganda. Budongo Forest is habitat to 24 mammals of which 9 are primates 360 bird species, about 290 butterflies, 465 trees and 130 moths it is also known for old mahogany trees that can grow up to 80 meters.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls National Park En route Visit Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking
Our driver guide will pick you from your hotel probably in Entebbe and set off for Murchison falls National park 
The Journey is interesting as you will enjoy seeing ; green landscapes, Cattle grazing Karuma falls en route ,Road side venders of fresh food, small towns, Villages and birds you will have a stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and then embark on the on foot Rhino tracking, well trained and armed rangers will guide you through the bush to where the Rhinos are, the trek takes 1½ to 2 hours, during the trek you will also encounter other wildlife like Kobs, Oribis ,Bushbucks, waterbucks Monkeys and Many bird species and if you are luck you will also see the Shoebill stock return , have lunch and then proceed to Murchison falls national park visit top of the falls for goo views of the falls and later transfer to the lodge for overnight.
Day 2: Game Drive and launch cruise
You will Wake up early and go for an early morning game drive in the open plains of the park. Look for animals grazing and hunting in the open Savannah, Among the animal you will see include elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, lions, leopards, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, e Jackson’s hartebeest and warthogs. After Lunch embark on a launch cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls; enjoy scenic views of the falls, and aquatic animals like Crocodiles, Hippos among others and many bird species at the banks of the river up on reaching the base of the falls.return to the lodge for over night.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest Reserve
The tracking starts at 8:00 am as you are led by the ranger guides to look for these amazing primates that share a DNA of about 98% with human beings during the tracking you will also be able to see various old tree species like mahogany, Other primates like monkeys, Baboons, Mangabeys, snakes butter flies and many bird species after the trek have lunch and drive back to Kampala/Entebbe.
