Semliki Safari Lodge

Semuliki National Park is one of Uganda’s smallest national parks situated in the western region,  Bundibugyo district. It lies across the floor of the Semliki Valley on the western side of the Ruwenzori. Its name is derived from the Semuliki Forest reserve which is home to numerous birds’ species and animals. The park is famous for the Sempaya male and female hot springs which attract many tourists.

The park has few accommodations inside the park and many are outside the park in the neighboring districts of Fort Portal and Bundibugyo.

SEMLIKI SAFARI LODGE

This is a luxury accommodation facility providing an unforgettable experience and comfort. The structures were constructed using local materials which gives an old fashion impression. With a maximum of 18 spacious tents protected by a thick thatch roof and feature en-suite bathrooms with running water, hot showers, and flush toilets. The tents have gleaming hardwood floors; you hear the sounds, feel the wind, and you smell the rain before it comes.

Semliki Safari Lodge

You can choose to have breakfast in your tent veranda or at the restaurant. The restaurant in the main area of the lodge with a soaring thatched roof, nice craft tables, and the comfy armchairs and sofas where guests sit to enjoy their delicious meals and favorite drinks. The lodge also has a swimming pool to help you cool off the heat. Enjoy a nature walk around the park.

NTOROKO GAME LODGE

The lodge is one of the two high-end lodges positioned in Tooro -Semliki Wildlife Reserve on the shores of Lake Albert to the west of Uganda. The lodge is unique and stylish built with a stone canvas exterior and wooden floors overlooking the cool Lake Albert at all angles which gives you a cool breeze during your stay. It gives you a full package of luxury, comfort, relaxation and safari adventure experience. All rooms lead out onto private patios with magnificent views of the lake & gardens.  It is situated in the Kirimia Village 100m from the Kirimia Trail Head, 10km from Sempaya along the road heading to Bundibugyo town. It is a budget facility that offers pocket-friendly services and a close encounter with the Semuliki National Park.

UWA Bandas and campsites

These are budget accommodation facilities under UWA management that provide camping grounds and non-self-contained bandas.
