Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where you will find the representative of Engagi Safaris waiting for you. Meet, greet, and have a brief introduction. You then drive to visit the Kigali genocide memorial Centre to learn more about the 1994 Rwanda genocide and how the country has recovered and transformed.  Thereafter, drive through Kigali city and cross to Uganda, headed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to see the endangered mountain gorillas. Overnight at Rusha Gorilla Camp

Have an early morning breakfast and with a packed lunch, drive to the park headquarters in Bwindi Forest for registration, briefing and gorilla family allocation. The adventure to see gorillas starts at 8:00 am and can last for between 2-6 hours, depending on where the allocated gorilla family will be. Hike through the dense forest searching for the endangered primates. You may encounter other wild animals during your search for the gorillas. After meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend an hour in their presence. Keep your distance, hold your camera firmly, and enjoy this magical encounter.  You will hike down, meet your driver, and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort

Following a hefty breakfast, check out and depart Bunyonyi, headed to Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda.  You will have stopovers along the way for refreshment and photography. Proceed to Kibale Forest arriving in the afternoon, check in, refresh, and in the evening, go for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland, a home to see primates, birds, and reptiles.  Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Lodge

Have an early morning breakfast, get your packed lunch, and transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Information Centre, where briefing and registration take place. You will be allocated to one chimpanzee community to visit. At 8:0am start the hike up and downhill through the rain forest looking for the endangered chimpanzees. The allowed time is strictly an hour from the time you see them.  Return to the lodge for refreshment, check out, and drive to Kampala.  A stop at the Uganda Equator is an opportunity for photography and scenic viewing

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Nairobi.  If time allows, visit the Giraffe Center where you take part in feed the giraffes. You can also visit the Elephant Orphanage Centre, the home to the orphaned elephants and Rhinos. Dinner and overnight at the Carnival restaurant

Following morning breakfast, transfer to Masai Mara National Park in south western Kenya, one of the top and popular travel destinations in Kenya. You will have a stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point for scenic views of the world’s largest rift valley. Proceed to the park, arriving in the afternoon. In the evening, visit the Masai villages to learn and experience the traditions, norms, customs and beliefs of these indigenous people.  Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge

Spend this whole day exploring the beauty of Masai Mara National Park. The savannah park is famous for the Annual wildebeest migration in southwestern Kenya on the borders with Tanzania. Guided game drives in the grassy plains of Masaia Mara offer you great views of wild animals such as Cheetahs, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Topis, Lions, Elephants, Zebras, Hippos, Leopards, Hyenas, and rhinos among others. Other interesting activities done in Masai Mara National park include cultural tours to the Masai pastoralists, Bird watching, nature walks, hot air balloon safaris, and scenic viewing among others. Dinner and overnight at  Mara Simba  Lodge

Spend this second day also exploring what Masai Mara National Park offers. A bush breakfast and picnic lunch offers you a more intimate and enjoyable wildlife encounter.  Take part in different optional activities different from the ones you did on the previous day. Game viewing to a different part of the park is a not miss. The other optional activities include nature walking, hot air balloon, bird watching and community tour as you wish. Have an early morning breakfast and embark on the road for a drive to Amboseli National Park located in southern Kenya, famous for sheltering large herds of elephants and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.  You can have an optional evening game drive if you like. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sapa lodge

Today is for exploring Amboseli National Park and taking part in different optional activities in the park. Full-day game drive in the park offers you scenic views of wild animals such as Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Topis, Gazelles, Rhinos and Zebras among others. The park is also best for nature walking, bird watching, community visits and photography. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sapa Lodge

Have a relaxed breakfast and transfer to Nairobi for your departure flight. En route visit some gift shops and shopping malls in case you want to buy some take home things
