15 Days Uganda and Rwanda Safari starts in Entebbe, Uganda and ends in Kigali, Rwanda. 15 Days Uganda and Rwanda Safari takes you to the visit Kampala City, Jinja for The Nile Source, Ngamba Chimps Sanctuary and to Murchison National National Park where where the Victoria Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop and do a boat drive on its waters. It will take you to Kibale Forest National Park for Chimpanzee trekking, Queen Elizabeth National Park which has avariety of game and bird species. Later transfer to lake Bunyonyi to experience the cool breeze and visit Islands, to Kigali for Gorilla trekking,Golden Monkey trekking,Nature walk in Volcanoes National Park and Nyungwe Forest National Park respectively.

Tour Plan
On arrival at the airport, meet a tour guide from Engagi Safaris Ltd holding a placard reading your names. He will welcome and transfer you to a pre-booked lodge either in Entebbe or Kampala. Overnight stay at Le Petit Village Lodge – Kampala / Boma Lodge Entebbe
After your breakfast our safari guide will be ready to take you around for a city tour; or you may choose to enjoy a boat cruise to Ngamba chimps Island. Spend a day viewing orphaned chimps as they feed and exercise their acrobatics. In the evening transfer back to your lodge.
In the morning at 7:00 am local time, you will be picked up from the hotel by our tour guide for a transfer to The Source of the Nile in Jinja. It is approximately a 2 hours drive to the Source of the Nile . Among the day’s activities is the 2 hours informative Mabira forest walk; horse riding and / white Water rafting. For White water rafters, it is advisable that you set off from Kampala at 6:00 am local time. At 8:00 am you should be at Bujagali Falls ready to participate in this breathtaking activity. At 8:00 am, your guide will transfer you to Murchison Falls National park. You may opt to track rhinos at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary which is a 3 hours’ drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls national park. After lunch in Masindi drive through the park up to the Top of the Murchison Falls. Overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge / Pakuba Safari Lodge
Wake up very early in the morning to catch up with the early risers including predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas and jackals before they retreat to their hideouts; other mammals include bush bucks, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, etc. In the afternoon go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Expect to encounter a plethora of migratory and endemic birds, hippos, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, waterbucks and giraffes at the river banks. After breakfast, embark on a scenic trip to Fort Portal, a beautiful town overlooking the mountains of the moon. Taking the Western scenic route to Kibale National Park, the 6 – 8 hours drive will lead you through the Albertine Rift with stunning views of the escarpments overlooking Lake Albert. After an early morning breakfast transfer to the park headquarters for a pre-tracking briefing by the forest guide. Your tour guide will then transfer you to the starting point of the chimp trek. Expect primates including chimpanzees, red colobus, black and white colobus and the red-tailed monkeys among others.
After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. It is 2 to 3 hours drive. Dinner and Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury)/ Kyambura game Lodge (Deluxe)/ Ihamba Lodge (Budget).
After a cup of coffee, go for an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in the park. Expect to see lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, Kobs and many more. Drive back to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, after lunch, transfer to the Kazinga Channel for a launch cruise. Expect a variety of wildlife along the banks of the water channel between lakes Edward and George including buffalos, elephants, school of hippos, crocodiles as well as a variety of bird species. After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the second Africa’s deepest lake after Lake Tanganyika. Drive through the Ishasha sector expecting to encounter the famous tree climbing lions which are always spotted clinging on old fig tree branches. After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise on the lake to the surrounding islands and the Batwa (Pygmies) community. After Lunch transfer to Rwanda via Chanika border and stay an overnight near volcanoes national park in Ruhengeri. After an early morning breakfast our safari guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing by a ranger guide and allocation of the gorilla groups. The guide will again transfer you to the starting point for tracking where all other trackers, porters and game rangers will converge ready to go hiking following the forest trails leading to the gorillas. On encountering the mountain gorillas, you will be left in their presence for at least an hour. In the morning, you may either go for golden monkey tracking in the Volcanoes national park, where you will encounter other primate species or hike up to Dian Fossey grave. After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park through scenic valleys and terraced hills. Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge (Luxury)
Take your breakfast before 6.00 am and embark on Colobus monkeys Tracking in Nyungwe Forest. Expect to encounter the Angola colobus monkeys, forest birds, and butterflies. There are 13 primate species in the forest. In the afternoon if still strong, you may go for nature walk to the tea factor. Dinner and overnight stay. (Day 12)
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Kigali with en route visit to the King’s Palace at Nyanza, Butare Museums and Murambi Genocide Memorial Site reaching Kigali in the evening and transfer to the airport for your departure flight if on schedule.
