Tour Plan

Our guide will pick you and transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your internal flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park landing at either Kihihi (For the north and Eastern parts of Bwindi NP) or Kisoro Airstrip (For the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon landing, our guide/vehicle will transfer you by road to your respective overnight Lodge. You may choose to fly in the morning or in the afternoon. Morning flights depart Entebbe for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at 7:45am while afternoon flights depart Entebbe at 12:30pm. For the southern part of Bwindi NP, there is only one morning flight that departs Entebbe to Kisoro Airstrip daily at 7:45am. This is because of the strong winds in this region. Internal flights to Bwindi NP take up to one and half hours depending on the routing of the day.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Lodge: Mahogany SpringsNkuringo Gorilla Camp.

Flight time: One to one and a half hours.

Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Tracking at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures.

Lodge: Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort

Wake up early and join a boat cruise to enjoy the sunset at lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s second deepest Lake with over 29 islands. Return to the lodge for breakfast and transfer to Kihihi airstrip for a connecting flight to Entebbe.
