3 Days Bwindi Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trekking Tour

Following an early morning breakfast, get your packed lunch and transfer the respective
park headquarters for registration and briefing on the dos and don’ts of mountain gorilla
trekking. You will also be allocated one gorilla family to visit on this adventure. The trek to
see gorillas starts at 8:00am and can last for between 3 minutes to over 6 hours. The trek in
search for the gorillas is an opportunity to meet other wild animals and birds which live in

this jungle forest. The allowed time with the gorillas is strictly an hour counted from the
time you meet them. Later, drive back to Lake Bunyonyi and refresh. You will then embark
on a sunset boat cruise exploring different islands of the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake

After an early breakfast, drive to the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Kisoro district for
golden monkey trekking. You will first assemble at Ntebeko Park headquarters where you
will be registered and briefed on what to expect. At 8:00am, start the trek to meet these
playful the playful and energetic golden monkeys which jump quickly up and through the
bamboo forests. Fortunately, the trek to see golden monkeys is less strenuous compared to
gorilla trekking. Enjoy observing the monkeys as they feed, jump between branches, and
interact within their groups. From there, you will transfer to Kampal or Kigali to catchup
with your connecting flight
