It is possible to fly in to Rwanda’s Kigali International air port and do gorilla trekking in Uganda either in Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park- the home to more than half population of remaining mountain gorillas remaining in the whole world, Bwindi Forest inhibits more than 400 mountain Gorillas or trekking in Mgahinga National park which is part of the great Virunga Conservation area .
This 3 days Gorilla trekking tour is suitable for people who are already in Kigali ,people who have short time and want to visit two countries ,people who want to avoid long hours of driving from Entebbe to Bwindi which is between 7 to 9 hours drive, this will only take between 3 to 5 hours drive from Kigali to Bwindi and offcorse save money ($900) Gorilla trekking permit for Rwanda’s Volcanoes National park costs $1500 where as Gorilla trekking permit for Uganda’s Bwindi Forest and Mgahinga National park costs $600 but will be Increased to $700 starting July 2020.

Our Guide will pick you up from the air port or at the hotel or any location in in Kigali, depending on the time of pick up you can have a short Kigali city tour and then procced with the journey to Uganda the pearl of Africa through Katuna Boarder. The journey will take about 2 hours to Katuna boarder .The is road is descent all the way to Kabale and very scenic .Rwanda is also known to be the land of a thousand hills you will witness this as you drive along side many green terraced hills .Depending on your preference you a can have an over night in Lake Bunyonyi which is about 45 minutes from the boarder and wake up early for 1 and half hours or drive for another 2 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park.Check in your lodge dinner and over night
After an early breakfast your guide will remind you of what to pack for the day after getting ready transfer to the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers about the gorilla trekking rules and how the day will look like you will also be allocated a gorilla family to visit at this time. Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest, it may go for 30 mins-4 hours to find Gorillas depending on their movements. once you meet Gorillas you will have one hour maximum to see, learn, photograph and interact with the Gorillas there after you will eat your packed lunch hike back to the park head equator receive your Gorilla trekking certificate and drive to lake Bunyonyi. After breakfast transfer back to Kigali through Katuna border up reaching Kigali visit the Kigali Genocide memorial ,for remembrance, learning and honour victims of the Rwandan Genocide of 1994 and ensure that it never happens again depending on your departure time you can go for Kigali tour to see markets and learn more about the lives of Rwandans today .Leter the Guide will drive you to the airport and I will be time to say GOOD BYE
