This 3 days gorilla Trekking safari offers you a great opportunity to explore the hidden treasures of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park by taking you right in middle of jungle in  the company of the  rare mountain gorillas. This park straddles southwest of Uganda just at the extreme side of the Albertine rift valley. With about 1004 mountain gorillas that still thrive on earth, over 400 individuals call this park their home with approximately 16 groups that are readily available for you to track. The 331 square kilometer protected area isn’t only ideal for you to see these Great Apes in the wild but also offers you a golden opportunity to explore other incredible creatures that are inhabited in this park including over 163 tree species, 1000 flowering plants, 51 reptiles, 27 frogs, 140 fern species, 350 avifaunal species, 200 butterfly species a mention but a few. Besides having lifetime experiences with these giant apes  creatures, you can also have a chance to engage in a number of exciting activities especially birding, cultural (Batwa/pygmy )encounters, nature walks among others. On this 3 days gorilla trekking safari you will also have a chance to stay at Lake Bunyionyi the most Beautiful lake in Uganda, Deepest Lake In Uganda, Second deepest in Africa ,The Lake has 29islands, free from dangerous animals, Bilharzia free and safe for swimming

The 3 days Uganda Gorilla trekking safari will also get you to the Uganda Equator .Uganda Equator is a land mark to show an imaginary line that divides the earth into 2 equal halves , you will stand in two parts of the world at the same time One leg in the north and the other in the south this this an experience you do not have to miss ,You will also have time to visit craft shops where you can buy what interests you and support the local community ,You will also learn about the Ankole people and their culture one of the oldest traditional dynasties in Uganda

You will be picked from Entebbe International Airport or at a hotel in Entebbe or Kampala by one of our well-trained and experienced driver guides ready to set off  to lake Bunyonyi  Close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, The Journey will take  7-9 hours via stunning countryside along Kampala-Masaka route on a tarmac for about 77 kilometres where you will make a stopover at the Uganda  Equator  in Kayabwe. While at this point, you will have opportunity to take  photos and also refresh yourself or pay a visit to one of the craft shops to purchase some locally made craft products for your own memories. Besides, you will also enjoy the spectacular landscape along the way and then make another stopover for lunch at  Igongo Cultural Centre where you will   taste the traditional dishes and visit the museum to explore the rich Ankole culture prior proceeding for your dream adventure in Bwindi National Park. /Lake Bunyonyi area known as the Switzerland of Africa, Diner and Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort

It’s time to see the big apes. Today you’ll be trekking mountain gorillas –After an early breakfast your guide will remind you of what to pack for the day after get ready transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the gorilla trekking rules and how the day will look like you will also be allocated a gorilla family to visit . Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest, it may go for 30 mins-4 hours to find Gorillas depending on their movements. once you meet Gorillas you will have one hour maximum to see, learn, photograph and interact with the Gorillas there after you will eat your packed lunch hike back to the park head equator receive your Gorilla trekking certificate . After tracking transfer back to Lake Bunyonyi to put your feet up! depending on the time you come back you may   take an Island tour or  visit the communities(optional). Overnight Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.

Morning drive back to Entebbe or Kigali depending on the time – and those going to Rwanda can visit the Genocide memorial on the way.
