Malabo city is found at Bioko island and is known for its exciting culture, colonial architecture, and natural magnificence. You will be welcomed by our representative on arrival and be briefed quickly on your trip and soon be led to explore the city. Depending on the time of arrival, you will check in at the lodge/hotel, have your lunch and then head to the city for a tour. You will have a visit to the Independence square which is the main square in the city known for hosting events and other gatherings, visit the Cathedral of Santa Isabel, the Presidential Palace, and if time allows checkout the Malabo's beaches.
This day starts with a tasty breakfast and then head to Pico Basilé National Park for an excursion into this beautiful nature of this country. Pico Basilé is the highest point of Equatorial Guinea you will explore this amazing peak enjoying great views of the entire area. The rain forest of this park supports a range of flora and fauna as will be spotted during the hike. Numerous species of plants, reptiles, insects and amphibians contribute to the general ecological sense of balance. Have a planned lunch and later return to the bottom on the steep roads of this park.Â
After your breakfast at the lodge, you will get a domestic flight to Bata is the main city of Equatorial Guinea on the main land. The flight takes a short period and soon you will be at your destination ready to have an excursion into the matchless beauty on this African land. You will have a visit to the Cathedral of Bata also known as Cathedral de Bata to watch the amazing architecture of this prominent religious site, visit Plaza de la Independencia the main square of the city. Have a lunch break and then visit Bata Artisanal Center for crafts and souvenirs, Bata Seafront, Local Restaurants and taste Cuisines, engage with Locals to understand their daily lives. Retire at the lodge, have dinner and overnight at the lodge.Â
After the morning breakfast, you will visit the Eyipantla Waterfalls for another exciting moment and then head to the airport afterwards.
