This 4 Days Double Gorilla Safari sees you to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, you will be able to see the famous Virunga ranges, Mountain Gorillas, golden monkeys, black and white monkeys, red tailed monkeys and a variety of bird species on the shores of the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burela. The activities include trekking the gorillas twice, birding and nature walk around the twin lakes.

You will be picked from your Hotel/Airport by a guide. He will take you for a city tour around Kigali and visit various memorial and historical sites. You will later head to Volcanoes National Park viewing spectacular scenery of the Virunga Mountains en route. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury)/Hotel La Palme (Deluxe)/ Muhabura Guest (Budget).
In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest, gorilla trekking may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you may go for community walk in the Banyarwanda community. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (Day 1).
On this day, following the same procedure like on the first gorilla tracking adventure, you will follow a different gorilla group, different from the one tracked on the previous day. On return from the tracking, go for a nature walk to the twin lakes, Ruhondo and Burela. Dinner and overnight at the previous lodge.
You will have morning breakfast and head to the forest for golden monkey tracking. You will also encounter some other primates such as the black and white monkeys, red-tailed monkeys among others. On return drive to Kigali International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
