This 4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari is all inclusive tour that rewards you with the African big five game and the world’s mighty waterfall Murchison falls, encounter with the most sought after bird shoebill, a walk in the Biggest mahogany forest in East Africa and a home to the largest number of Chimpanzees in Uganda Budongo Forest and then a visit to Ziwa Rhino and wildlife ranch the only place in Uganda to find rhinos in the wild.
Murchison Falls National Park is home to the highest concentration of animals which include 76 species of Mammals and 451 birds, the park is 3840 square kilometres and was gazetted in 1952 Here is a bucket list of animals that you will see in Murchison Falls; Loins, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Giraffes, Antelopes, Hyenas, warthogs during the boat cruise you will see big schools of Hippos, Crocodiles, Shoe bill and many other birds
This 4 Days tour also takes you to Budongo Forest the largest natural forest reserve in Uganda it is 825 square Kilometres located in the North West part of Uganda. Budongo Forest is habitat to 24 mammals of which 9 are primates 360 bird species, about 290 butterflies, 465 trees and 130 moths it is also known for old mahogany trees that can grow up to 80metres.
On the last day of this 4 Days Murchison Falls Safari, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary a private non-profit ranch located in Nakasongola District governed by Uganda Rhino Fund , it is 72 sq. km in size. Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild. The Sanctuary is a home to 40 mammals, reptiles species and many birds that include the Shoebill.

Our driver guide will pick you from your hotel and set off for Murchison falls national park. The journey is about 6 hour drive. The Journey is interesting as you will enjoy seeing ; green landscapes, Cattle grazing Karuma falls enroute ,Road side venders of fresh food, small towns, Villages and birds you will have lunch stop over and then proceed to your lodge, Check in and later head for evening game drive for game viewing . Among the animal you will see include elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, lions, leopards, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, elands, Jackson’s hartebeest and warthogs Dinner and overnight
You will Wake up early and go for an early morning game drive in the open plains of the park. Look for animals grazing and hunting in the open Savannah, Among the animal you will see include elephants, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, lions, leopards, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, e Jackson’s hartebeest and warthogs. After Lunch embark on a launch cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls; enjoy scenic views of the falls, and aquatic animals like Crocodiles, Hippos among others and many bird species at the banks of the river up on reaching the base of the falls you will hike to the top of the falls for greater views of the mighty Murchison falls,the driver will then meet you at the top of the falls after taking pictures you will get into the car and drive to have a night in Budongo Forest.
The tracking starts at 8:00 am as you are led by the ranger guides to look for these amazing primates that share a DNA of about 98% with human beings during the tracking you will also be able to see various old tree species like mahogany, Other primates like monkeys, Baboons, Mangabeys, snakes butter flies and many bird species return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest later transfer to have an overnight at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
After you’re your breakfast you will embark on the on foot Rhino tracking, well trained and armed rangers will guide you through the bush to where the Rhinos are, the trek takes 1½ to 2 hours during the trek you will also encounter other wildlife like Kobs, Oribis ,Bushbucks, waterbucks Monkeys and Many bird species return at the lodge have lunch after drive back to Kampala.
