Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park offers you a great opportunity to explore the hidden treasures of this impenetrable while tracking the rare mountain gorillas. This park straddles southwest of Uganda just at the extreme side of the Albertine rift valley. With about 1004 mountain gorillas that still thrive on earth, over 400 individuals call this park their home with approximately 16 groups that are readily available for you to track. The 331 square kilometre protected area isn’t only ideal for you to see these Great Apes in the wild but also offers you a golden opportunity to explore other incredible creatures that are inhabited in this park including over 163 tree species, 1000 flowering plants, 51 reptiles, 27 frogs, 140 fern species, 350 avifaunal species, 200 butterfly species a mention but a few. Besides having lifetime experiences with these dramatic creatures, you can also have a chance to engage in a number of exciting safari activities especially birding, cultural encounters, nature walks and many more
Kibale Forest National Park which is situated in the western side of Uganda. This park is one of a few unique and beautiful rainforest parks in Uganda where chimpanzee trekking is best done This conservancy area features about 13 primate species of which chimpanzees equally make up a larger portion. Kibale Forest National Park boasts of its diverse natural wonders and popular as a capital for primates. Besides chimpanzees, there are also many L’Hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons among others as well as 350 bird species that include the rare African green breasted pitta; 250 tree species, forest elephants, buffaloes, and others.

Tour Plan
Morning, pick up from Entebbe and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (lake Bunyonyi is the most beautiful lake in Uganda with about 29islands, safe for swimming) it is the second deepest lake in Africa, near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort en route stop over at the Equator
Gorilla trekking. This is a memorable experience which can take approximately three to eight hours depending on the movements of the Gorillas. You will be required to carry packed lunch and enough drinking water, rain gears, long sleeved shirts, good hiking shoes. At Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort
Boat cruise or Canoe trekking to the Islands (lake Bunyonyi is the most beautiful lake in Uganda with about 29 islands, safe for swimming),after transfer to Kibale Forest National Park (KFNP) En route, see the Rocky historical site near Kyenjojo town where people go to pray for the Uganda martyrs & their names written on the rocks. Chimpanzee habituation which takes the whole day. Here we will have an early breakfast and carry packed lunch with us to the forest. At 6:30am we will be at the starting/briefing point and head off to see the chimpanzees coming out of their nests. Spend the whole day with them till you fill you are done or keep in the forest and see the chimpanzee making their new nests you will get a chance to see other primates like monkeys, Baboons and many bird species.
