Sudan is one of the exceptional African countries, known for its unique historical sites and several basics of natural tourism. The Nile Street is one of Sudan’s most vibrant places and most interestingly, there is Al Murjan where the Blue Nile and White Nile intersect. At this area, you can see the difference in colors in water, boats and ferries. It is an ideal spot for you to take sunset cruise. Have the rest of the leisurely evening and night stay at the pre-booked hotel in Khartoum.
Explore Naga’a (Naqa), a ruined ancient city of the Kushitic Kingdom of Memore in modern day Sudan. It is found 170km North-east of Khartoum and 50km east of the Nile river. Expect to explore one of the biggest ruined sites in Sudan. This city is also known for its 2 temples –one devoted to Amun & the other to Apedemak. At Musawwarat, expect to visit the Island of Meroe also a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After breakfast, embark on a journey to explore the pyramids of Meroe –these are the Nubian pyramids and come in huge numbers. These were the burial sites for the Kushite monarchs plus other royal family members as well as important officials and dignitaries. Return to the hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Leave your hotel for Khartoum Airport where you will connect by air to Port Sudan, a city and port located along the Red sea, Eastern Sudan. You will have great time at your resort along the Port Sudan.
Have breakfast and after, you will have a long day exploring different sites in Port Sudan. The popular sites to explore here include Sanganeb National Park, Red sea secret diving centre and more. You will have a free evening at your pre-booked resort.
After a hot cup of tea/coffee, you will fly back to Khartoum Airport. You will proceed with your flight back or be dropped off at the hotel in Khartoum awaiting your next visit to other destinations.
