Book this 7 Days Primate Adventure Tour in Uganda to see Chimps, Gorillas and relaxation at the best lake in Uganda! This 7 day small group tour is perfect for getting up close in the wild with chimpanzees and mountain gorillas, as well as recharging our batteries by the water. You’ll join a group of like-minded people, jump in our 4WD vehicle and be guided by our local experts across Uganda to see the wildlife and enjoy great accommodation.

7 day itinerary starting in Entebbe (Uganda) and ending in Kigali (Rwanda)
Day One:
We’ll pick you up from Entebbe International Airport and drive you to Kibale Forest National Park. En route you’ll see the rocky historical site near Kyenjojo town where people go to pray for the Uganda Martyrs & their names written on the rocks. Sleep at Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (Mid-Range) or Primate Lodge (Luxury).
Day Two:
Chimpanzee Habituation Experience. Early in the morning we head off to see the chimpanzees coming out of their nests. Spend the whole day with them until they make their beds for the night. Back to your lovely lodge.
Day Three:
Cross the equator (pictures essential!) to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We’ll go on a 2 hour spectacular safari boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you’ll get up close to elephants, crocs, hippos, buffalo, water birds and lots more. Awesome photo opportunities here too! Overnight at Bush Lodge (mid-range), Katara Lodge or Mweya Safari Lodge (Luxury).
Day Four:
Earlymorning game drive beforetravelling to Lake Bunyonyi close to Bwindi ImpenetrableNational Park. Stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
Day Five:
It’s time to see the big apes. Today you’ll be trekking mountain gorillas – this memorable experience can take from three to eight hours depending on the movements of the Gorillas. After tracking transfer back to Lake Bunyonyi to put your feet up! After Gorilla trekking, return to Lake Bunyonyi (the most beautiful lake in Uganda with 29 islands, safe for swimming and lots of adventurous activities on tap). Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort (Mid-Range/ Luxury)
Day Six:
Free day to do as little or much as you like! Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort (Mid-Range/ Luxury)
Day Seven:
Morning drive to Kigali and we can visit the Kigali genocide memorial on the way if you’re interested.
