Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide who will brief you about the exciting photography adventure ahead before transferring you to your hotel in Arusha.

Nestled beneath Mount Meru, Arusha serves as the gateway to Tanzania's famous northern safari circuit. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a leisurely walk around the lodge gardens where colorful sunbirds, weavers, hornbills, and other garden birds offer your first photography opportunities.

Your guide will discuss camera settings, recommended lenses, expected wildlife sightings, and the itinerary while answering any questions about the safari.

The remainder of the day is reserved for relaxation after your international journey.

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and drive toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The scenic journey passes through the fertile farmlands of Karatu before entering the spectacular Ngorongoro Highlands.

Several viewpoints along the route provide opportunities to photograph sweeping landscapes, Maasai villages, and traditional pastoral life.

After entering Serengeti National Park, your photographic safari immediately begins. The endless plains stretch to the horizon, dotted with acacia trees, kopjes, and abundant wildlife.

Your first game drive may reveal elephants crossing the plains, giraffes feeding from acacia trees, lion prides resting beneath shade trees, cheetahs scanning the grasslands, or large herds of buffalo.

Before sunrise, depart with breakfast boxes to capture the golden light as it spreads across the Serengeti plains. Early mornings offer exceptional opportunities to photograph predators returning from their nighttime hunts.

Depending on wildlife movements, your guide positions the vehicle for optimal lighting and composition while maintaining respectful viewing distances.

Possible photographic subjects include; lions interacting with cubs, leopards resting in sausage trees, cheetahs hunting gazelles, elephant family groups, hippos in pools, hyenas, jackals, topi, hartebeests, zebras, wildebeests among others.

The afternoon continues with additional game drives before returning during sunset.

Following another early departure, spend the day tracking the Great Migration according to the season.
