Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Maun to Moreni Game Reserve
You will be welcomed by our representative upon your arrival at Maun airport and soon board
a small aircraft Xakanaxa airstrip in Moreni Game Reserve. Proceed to your tented camp and
soon have your dinner on the beautiful African sunset and spend your night at the camp.
Day 2 & 3: Xakanaxa and Moreni Game Reserve
This beautiful Moreni area offers diverse habitats ranging from waterways, lagoons, flood plains
to Savanah Sheltering a variety of wildlife like the Elephants, buffaloes, lions, wildebeests,
giraffes, cheetahs, hyena, Kudus, Sable antelopes, black and white rhinos, warthogs, zebras,
baboons, Crocodiles and Hippos and many bird species. You will spend these 2 days exploring
this game reserve in exclusive game drives, Mokoro canoe rides, fishing, elephant interaction,
Birding and nature walks. All meals at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Khwai River
After breakfast on this day, you will travel along River Khwai enjoying the woodlands and other
habitats with a stopover at Dombo Hippo pools as you proceed to Khwai arriving later on in the
evening. This place is home to large elephants, big cats, large crocodiles, and the endangered
wild dogs. You will engage in a night game drive to catch-up with the night movers especially
the nocturnal and the cats. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5&6: Khwai Concession Area
You will spend the next two days exploring this amazing area located on the North Eastern
parts of the Okavango delta. The Khwai area used to be a hunting concessions days back but
has since been turned into a conservation area with a dry savannah and swampy land that
shelter a variety of wildlife and Flora. The elephants, lions, cheetah, zebra, elands, wild dogs,
buffaloes, leopards, hyena, giraffes, hippo and sable among others are some of the unique
wildlife you will encounter on your trip. You will explore this area in game drives, mokoro
canoeing, night game drives and nature walks for these two days. Meals and overnights at the
lodge.
Day 7: Transfer to Savuti-Chobe National Park
After breakfast at the lodge this day, you will depart driving through the Magwikwe Sand ridge
which makes it sometimes impassable. You will enjoy scenic views as you drive through this
side and also setting your eyes on several wildlife species as you approach you destination.
Arrive later in the evening at the lodge/camp, relax, have dinner and spend a night there.
Day 8 &9: Savuti-Chobe National Park
You will explore this beautiful park for these two days, it boasts in the abundance of lions and
elephants and other wildlife. You will engage in day trips, game drives, Chobe boat cruise,
Chobe river sunset cruise, fishing trip and walks as you explore the different habitats of this
park. Some of the wildlife species to look out for include; elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes,
antelopes and many bird species among others. All meals and night stays will be at the
lodge/camp.
Day 10: Transfer to Chobe River
After your breakfast at the lodge, you will head to Chobe River for an exclusive boat ride as you
end your 10 days trip. End of the 10 days Safari in Botswana.
