Sabi Sands
It is believed that Sabi Sands’s long history of conservation work contributes to its reputation as South Africa’s most esteemed private reserve.
The present Sabi Sands Game Reserve was formed in 1949 when the proprietors amalgamated their estates, the majority of which had previously been used for agriculture, with the original reserve that had been declared in 1898.

The enormous private reserve spans 650 km² (251 sq mi), and animals are able to move between it and Kruger National Park due to the unfenced borders on the park’s western edges.
Sabi Sands is able to provide a water source that is unaffected by the changing seasons since boreholes that were once utilized for crops are now waterholes for animals. The Big Five and the hundreds of other species that comprise the wider Kruger population are easily observable at any time of year, thanks to this.

Day visitors, camping, and public picnic areas are not welcome at Sabi Sands because the resort is all about exclusivity and elegance. There is a lodge or camp on the reserve that will suit every budget; some are rather inexpensive, while others provide the pinnacle of luxury. Sabi Sands offers a wide variety of accommodations, including immersive bush camps, honeymoon suites, and elegant private villas.
