Makalali Private Game Reserve: On the western boundary of Kruger National Park, close to the town of Hoedspruit, is the 260km (162 mi) bushveld that makes up Makalali Private Game Reserve.

 Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg is the closest major airport. Multiple domestic flights service smaller airports daily, and Hoedspruit is also easily accessible.
