The Itinerary
Day 1: Chefchaouen
Leave Tangier for your 10 Days discover Morocco safari. Proceed from your
accommodation for connecting flight from the airport/the port in Tangier. Before
reaching to Chefchaouen, you will explore the renowned bride of the earth- a city
lying in Northwestern side and this is where the Mediterranean Sea meets the
Atlantic Ocean.
The city and cave Hercules as well as the Cape Spartel will be visited then settle for
a leisurely lunch. Head off to Chefchaouen navigating via the Tetouan city, and Rif
Mountains with en-route panoramic views.
Day 2: Chefchaouen the blue city (Sightseeing)
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, set out for sightseeing in
Chefchaouen the blue city. Chefchaouen city lies in the Rif Mountains Northwest
Morocco, most popular for its buildings and alleyways painted in blue and white.
Navigate through the beautiful old medina, a place with several stunning authentic
blue doors. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and embark on an afternoon walk to the Spanish
Mosque which is found on a high ground while overviewing the entire blue city.
Day3: Explore the Roman Ruins of Volubilis & Meknes, Fes
Set out for your tour through the alleyways of the blue city Chefchaouen. Your day
exploration will include visiting the Roman Ruins Volubilis, UNESCO site listed in
Morocco. Continue to Meknes the Ismaili capital and visit Bab Al-Mansour, the Royal
stables, Sahrij Souani basin, Moulay and granary and more. Finalize the day’s tourn
with visit to Fes and settle for dinner at a riad.
Day 4: Sightseeing in Fes
After breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel and transfer to Fes. At Fes city,
explore one of the imperial cities in addition to cultural and religious centers. The city
expedition begins at the Royal Palace gate to Medieval Medina- UNESCO Site;
Medrasa Bouanania, Tenneries, Najjarine fountain and lastly at the Quaraouin. After
visiting the Medina, proceed to the Jewish quarter. You will also enjoy the panoramic
views at the ancient Fortress.
Day 5: Leave Fes for Ifrane, Cedars forest, Midelt, Ziz valley and Merzouga
Sahara
Depart from Fes to visit Ifrane –an area with low temperature and unique
architecture. Proceed to Cedars forest the place the Barbary macaques resides.
From the Cedar, head off to Midelt for a lunch break then drive via the Tizi-n-Tilghmt
pass with guarantee of remarkable views at the Ziz Valley.
Afternoon tour includes visiting the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Embark on camel
trekking across the sandy desert with a stopover to be made at the high dune for
sunset viewing. Proceed to the camp for relaxation and perhaps entertainment from
the Berber.
Day 6: Merzouga Area to Nomads, Khamlia, Merzouga Lake, Erg Chebbi and
Palm grove
Explore Merzouga region, visit spectacular sites including the sand dunes, wild Lake,
fossils and oases. You will also visit the nomads, learn more about the Berber. The
next visit will be at Khamlia village for entertainment from the Gnaoua music and
dancing performances. Enjoy a leisurely lunch break before proceeding to Merzouga
for relaxation.
Day 7: Rissani, Erfoud, Todra Gorges and Dades Valley
After breakfast, you will depart Merzouga for a long day visit in Rissani trading
center, touroug, Tinjdad palm groves, Todra gorges. After lunch, visit the Dades
Vallye via Boumalne Dades.
Day 8: Depart Dades Valley to tour Roses Valley, Palm groves of Skoura,
Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Telouet, High Atlas Mountains &
Marrakech
Depart Dades Valley for Kalaa Magouna to explore the Rose valley. The rose festival
always takes place each year in May. Drive via the palm groves of skoura and
explore the Kasbah of Amredhyle then later Ouarzazate then proceed the Taourirt
Kasbah where you will connect to Ait Ben Haddou.
Day 9: Sightseeing at Marrakech
A hefty breakfast and after, set out to explore some of the imperial cities in Morocco.
The areas to visit include Saadian tombs, Bahia palace and Ben Youssef quaranic
mosque. Walk through Morocco’s biggest market and have a leisurely lunch before
visiting the Koutoubia Mosque.
Day 10 Departure at Casablanca Airport
Pick up at the lodge and after, set out for Casablanca and today may include visiting
the Hassan II mosque. After, drop off at the airport for departure back home and this
marks the end of tour.
