The Itinerary
Day 1: Hotel transfer in Casablanca

Meet and greet the tour guide upon arrival at the airport in Morocco. Leave the
airport for hotel check-in and you will have a brief tour in Dar al-Bayda. Morocco’s
Casablanca city is set on the Atlantic Coast of Chaouia Plains in Central-Western
Morocco. While on a city tour in Casablanca, expect to visit Morocco’s largest
mosque “the Hassan II Mosque” located in the western side of the city. At the coast,
you will also enjoy excellent view of the Atlantic Ocean and the rest of the evening,
chill at the lodge/hotel.

Day 2: Rabat and Blue city of Chefchaouen tour
Start your expedition at the coastline where you will be visiting Rabat –the imperial
city of Morocco. Lying in the Northwestern side of Morocco, Rabat has plenty of sites
to be visited including Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan tower, and more
–proceed to the hotel/restaurant for lunch break. In the afternoon, proceed with the
tour to the Blue city of Chefchaouen lying in the Rif Mountains.

Day 3: The Roman Ruins, Imperial Cities of Meknes and Fes (Morocco)
Depart the hotel property for a long day expedition in the Roman Ruins and today,
three iconic Roman Ruins will be visited: Sala colonia, Volubilis & Lixus. The
Volubilis Ruins are a UNESCO Heritage Site listed and it is where you will begin your
expedition, then continue to Meknes and Fes. At Meknes city, explore the Royal
stables, Bab Al-Mansour, Souani and later, continue to Fes before retiring for the
night at the Riad.

Day 4: Experience the Medieval Fez’s culture & unique history

Fes is considered as the first capital city in Morocco and it is a rich cultural historical
city. At Fes, you will be visiting the UNESCO designated Medina and the artisan
workshops. After, retire for the night at the pre-booked hotel.

Day 5: Sahara Desert expedition –visit Erfoud, Merzouga
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and later, you will experience the Sahara Desert in
Morocco. Head off to eastern province of Morocco to explore Erfoud- the desert
oasis and proceed to Merzouga, a small village in the South-eastern Morocco.

Day 6: Rissani Market and Todra Gorge (Desert adventures)
A full day desert adventures in Morocco will give you a remarkable treat on day 6
and this includes visiting the Rissani market & Rodra Gorge. The Rissani market is
located in the heart of Rissani town and a souk is done thrice a week
(Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday). Your tour lets you interact with residents who come to

carry out trade and if you are interested in fresh fruits or vegetables, it is a great day
to grab some.
After exploring the Rissani market, continue to Todra Gorge where you will embark
on a short trek to the Sahara Desert. Meals and overnight stay will be at La Petite
Gorge or Hotel La Kasbah.

Day 7: Explore –Ourzazate, Dades Valley and Ait Benhaddou Kasbah
A cup of tea/coffee and after, you will be visiting 3 key areas: Dades Valley in Thingir
Province – this forms part of the beautiful Atlas Mountains. After visiting the Dades
Valley and proceed to renowned door of the desert-Ourzazate. Ourzazate is found
within Ourzazate Province in Draa-Tafilalet in South-central Morocco. Leave
Ourzazate for Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, a fortified village lying in the former caravan
route between the Sahara and Marrakesh in Morocco. Meals & night stay at Riad
Ouinz.

Day 8: Tizi n’Tichka
A hefty breakfast early in the morning and after, head off for Tizi n’Tichka, Atlas
Mountain pass linking the South-east of Marrakesh to Ourzazate. It is also a gateway
to the Sahara Desert and a night stay will be in Hotel La Sultana.

Day 9: The Red city expedition
Leave the hotel for Marrakech also referred to as the Red city, a name it derives
from the painting of the buildings. The red color is a color that is recommended for all
buildings’ painting in this city. You will experience the Medina souks; explore the
narrow alleyways, Djemaa el Fna and more. Retire for the nightat Ibis Marrakech
Plameraie or Riad Africa.

Day 10: Hiking adventure (Atlas & Amizmiz Mountains)
Enjoy breakfast and after, set off for Amizmiz Valley and Atlas for hiking. Lying on
the High Atlas slopes in the Northern side, 55 km off Marrakech city. The hike can be
incorporated with the distinct Berbers lifestyles. After the memorable hiking
experience, return to the hotel for a night stay in Taj Atlas Wellness Boutique Hotel
and Spa.

Day 11: Marrakech (Morocco)

After breakfast, you will set off for Marrakech where you will trek through Amizmiz
plus also touring other sites. Retreat from the long day Marrakech tour and chill at
the Sirayane Boutique Hotel Spa.

Day 12: Departure
Depart from Marrakech 2 hours’ drive to Casablanca. Depart at the airport or
proceed to the hotel for relaxation.
