The Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Casablanca Airport
Meet and greet the Morocco tour guide for pick up and transfer to pre-booked
accommodation. A relaxed evening and a night stay at a hotel and if time permits,
visit the Hassan II Mosque.
Day 2: Leave Casablanca for Rabat & Chefchaouen
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and after, start your journey to Rabat where over 2
million people live. Rabat city lies on the Atlantic Ocean at the Bou Regrey River
mouth. Explore the Hassan tower where you will overview the Wadi Bou Regreg.
This is the biggest mosque, emblematic of Rabat and most popular for its unfinished
minaret where storks nest. Have lunch and later you proceed to Chefchaouen for a
night stay.
Day 3: Volibillis & Meknes
A tasty cup of coffee or tea in the morning and after, continue to Chefchaouen and
you will explore the cool blue town located in the mountains. After exploring
Chefchaouen, settle for lunch and later proceed to the ancient Roman Ruins of
Volibillis. The 2000 year ancient ruins offer insight into the Roman Empire life. Next
stop visit will be at Meknes –one of the imperial cities in Morocco where a night will
be spent in a comfortable hotel.
Day 4: Fes
Head off to Fes but start your tour with a visit to Meknes, Musee Dar Jamai – a
museum that showcases the modern arts, ceramics, woodwork and costumes of
Moroccans. Get lunch and continue to Fes to check in at the hotel.

Day 5: Full-day in Fes
A hefty breakfast early in the morning and after, head out to Merenid Tombs of Fes,
continue to Musee des Armes –a fortress that formerly protected Fes. Here, the
8000 piees of artillery from Makina are visible. You will enter the Fes el-Bali via the
symmetrical horse shoe arches at Bab Boujeloud; visit the kings palace and later
settle for lunch.
Day 6: Fes to Ifrane to Errachidia to Erfoud and Merzouga (Morocco)
Start your expedition at 8:00 am, 8 hours drive on the middle Atlas Mountains via the
cedar forests of Ifrane also most famous as the Switzerland of Morocco, Azrou,
Midelt, ziz gorges heading to the sahara. Relax at Merzouga and embark on camel
ride in the sand dunes.
Day 7: Khamliya, Nomad Villages & Erg Chebbi
Arise early in the morning and enjoy the stunning sunrise over the dunes and
connect to the hotel. Proceed to Khamlia village for live Gnawa music and
experience the sand dunes and later, make a stopover for tea with nomads in berber
tents.
Day 8: Arfoud, Tinjdad, Tinghir and Toudra gorges
After breakfast, explore the remote volcanic Saghro Massifs to Tinehir. You will also
visit the fossil workshops where you will experience the incredible wonders of the
Sahara desert. Have leisure time to walk in the Toudra gorges while viewing the river
and its surrounding.
Day 9: Kalaa Megouna, Ouarzazate & Ait Ben Haddou
Start your expedition with an experienced guide via palmeries, gardens, villages and
Kasbahs. Get a close with the Berber, learn their daily ways of life and proceed to
Ouarzazate navigating via the numerous Berber villages. You settle for a night stay
at the hotel in Ait Benhaddou/Kasbah.
Day 10: Telouet, Marrakech

Explore the Ait Benhaddou –World Heritage Site. The Berber Kasbahs village has
featured in over 20 films and it was once a significant fortress stronghold along the
old salt road. This is where slaves were ferried using caravans as well as gold, ivory
and salt from Saharan Africa to Marrakech and other places. Have lunch and
proceed to Atlas Mountains tichka pass to Marrakech.
Day 11: Marrakech guided tour
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and you will be led to the Marrakech in the
Southern Morocco. Explore the palace of the Bahia, Saadian Tombs and several
sites, and then settle for lunch. After lunch, head out to Koutoubia Mosque and
Djemaa el-Fna, and then end it at the market.
Day 12: Essaouira
Leave Marrakech to Essaouira; go tour the port and its ramparts of Essaouira, the
old Medina and scala. You will enjoy fresh fish in one of the restaurants and later,
embark on camel trekking along the beach. You will also visit the ancient Portuguese
streets of the Old Medina of Essaouira (Mogador).
Day 13: Relaxation in Essaouira
Have a relaxed day in Essaouira, dinner and overnight stay at the pre-booked
accommodation.
Day 14: Casablanca
After breakfast, you travel from Essaouira to Casablanca. Make a stopover at El
Oualidia en-route and later proceed to the coastline to explore El Jadida.
Day 15: Departure
Wake up early, have a leisurely breakfast and later proceed to the airport for
departure.
