Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca –pick up & transfer to hotel
Pick up from the airport in Casablanca and connect to the hotel in the city.
Casablanca is the biggest city in Morocco, North Africa, situated overviewing the
Atlantic Ocean. Today, you will be visiting the Cornish of Casablanca then settle for
an overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2: Visit the Roman Ruins of Volubilis, Meknes & Fes
A delicious breakfast in the morning will be followed by a tour in the ancient Roman
Ruins of Volubilis. These are some of the well-kept heritage sites in Morocco and
have several stunning mosaics dotted around it. Walk around the ruins and later,
drive 30 km to Meknes then tour Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souanmi basin, granary
and royal stables and more, then head off to Fes.

Day 3: Sightseeing (Fes Morocco)
Have a full-day exploring Fes city with an experienced local guide. This is one of the
imperial cities and offers more than cultural religious experiences. You will visit the
Royal palace gate and continue to Medieval Medina, one of the listed UNESCO
Heritage Sites. Tour the blue gate/Bab Boujloud, the Old Medina entrance. Inside the
medina, visit the Medrasa Bouanania, Tenneries and Najjarine fountain. Other
places to visit include Quarouin mosque and university, the world’s oldest university
then you will exit Medina for the Jewish quarter tour. Drive to the ancient fortress for
picturesque view of the Medina and Fes city before retiring for the night.

Day 4: Sahara Desert experience
You will start the day with breakfast and after, head off to Ifrane, a city most popular
for its low temperature, snow & alpine –style architecture houses. This is referred to
as the Switzerland of Morocco and the next visit will be at Cedars forest. Proceed to
the Midelt for lunch break and later, continue to Merzouga via the Tizi-n-tilghmt pass
and on the Ziz valley.
Afternoon tour includes experiencing the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Here, go
camel riding on the sandy desert. Make a stopover at the high dune for a sunset
experience then relaxation at accommodation.

Day 5: Todra Gorges & Dades Valley
Your tour highlights today include transferring from Merzouga Sahara desert to
Rissani, Erfoud, Todra Gorges and Dades Valley. Rissani still features as the main
trading center in this area and also a large lively market. Walk through the Rissani
market, then head off to Erfoud and you will be visiting one of the workshops of
fossilized marble. You will also explore the Todra Gorges, a perfect place for rock
climbers to explore. Settle for lunch and later, make your way to the Dades Valley via
Boumalne Dades with a must-stop visit at “Monkey Fingers” rock formation and also
for picturesque view of Dades valley.

Day 6: Roses Valley, Palm groves, Ourzazate Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah &
Marrakech

Proceed to Kalaa Magouna, explore the Rose Valley where annual festival always
takes place in May. Get some of the rose products and continue to Ouarzazate to
tour one of the studios where top movies have been shot. Continue to Kasbah of Ait
Ben Haddou, a recognized UNESCO site and further head out to Alexander,
Gladiator, and other places. You make your way to Marrakech with lunch break to be
made en-route. Drop off at the airport/hotel and today marks the end of 6 Days
Morocco tour.
