Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up (Marrakech) & transfer to Casablanca-Rabat
Pick up at a hotel and transfer to Casablanca-Rabat (Morocco) North Africa. Have a
leisurely stay in the hotel pool or proceed with city tour visiting the Hassan II
Mosque- Africa’s biggest mosque. Have lunch break and depart Rabat Morocco’s
capital and while here, it is possible to view the Hassan Tower.
Day 2: Kenitra-Souk Larba-Chefchaouen (Morocco)
Enjoy a hefty breakfast followed by transfer to Chefchaouen through the Rif
Mountain. Drive crossing Larb Market and villages at Rif’s area then get to
Chefchaouen early for an afternoon relaxation at the riad.
Day 3: Ouazan & Fes
Breakfast will be offered early in the morning and you begin your trip to Volubilis
through Ouazan and crossing via other parts of the Rif’s villages. Arrive at Volubilis
early and visit the Roman Ruins, where you will also be left amazed by the unique
archeological sites. Continue to Meknes city for lunch break and later find yourself in
the Medina, Bab el Mansour before exploring the Moulay Ismail shrine. A relaxed
dinner and overnight stay in riad at Fes.
Day 4: Explore the historical sites
Leave accommodation facility for a guided tour in Fes with an experienced Morocco
tour guide. Expect to spend about half-day in this beautiful Fes while exploring the
historical and cultural centers such as Kings palace, Al-Qarawiyyin, Fes el Bali.
Settle for lunch break and head out to enjoy a short walk in the new city.
Day 5: Ifrane, Azrou, Merzouga
After a cup of tea/coffee, leave the lodge/hotel for Merzouga driving via the Atlas
Mountain area and Berber villages. En-route drive comes with picturesque views of
the countryside and opportunity to take pictures, make lunch break in one of the
restaurants. You will be visiting Azrou, a rich cedar forest with wild monkeys and
other species.
Day 6: Visit Todra Gorge, Ouarzazate
Breakfast enjoyed early in the morning and after, you set out for Ouarzazate through
Gorge Dades via oasis and palm trees of tinjdad city. The Todra Gorge lies in the
Eastern side of the high Atlas Mountain in Morocco and you will have lunch then
proceed to Ouarzazate. Drive via Roses town of Kalaa Mgouna –each year in May,
roses are harvested in Mgouna Villages in the Dades Valley. Arrive early at
Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure
After a delicious breakfast, you will leave Ait Benhaddou for Marrakech. Ait
Benhaddou is a UNESCO site listing. Pay another visit at the caravans’ path in High
Atlas Mountains and later settle for lunch in a restaurant then drop off at the lodge in
Marrakech or airport.
