Engagi Safaris is a Ugandan owned tour company with over 10 years’ experience and first-hand knowledge in operating safaris in Uganda, Rwanda and beyond. The company has grown from humbling beginnings when Basiima Robert founded the company in 2010 after working as a freelance guide and driver for over 5 years with multiple companies. From his experience as a guide, he saw what was lacking in other companies and decided to start up Engagi Safaris using his first-hand knowledge and experience of the country. Engagi safaris now offer tailor made itineraries according to your interest, time and budget.

In 2016 Engagi Safaris opened a guest resort  on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi in south west Uganda, called Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort. This Eco-friendly lodge offers a comfortable, affordable and friendly place to stay on your Ugandan safari to south western Uganda.
