world. With our exclusive 15 Days Zimbabwe safari, you will explore and experience
the magic behind this remarkably stunning African destination. This intimate safari
introduces you to Zimbabwe’s top National Parks including Matobo National Park
and Hwange National Park. You will also explore more about the country’s unique
history on a tour in the ancient 900 year old great Zimbabwe Ruins. These ruins are
believed to be capital of the legendary Queen of Sheba.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Airport pick up & travel to a hotel
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by a professional driver guide at Victoria Falls
Airport and briefed about this intimate tour. After, drive to your pre-booked hotel
property for a relaxed afternoon and at leisure you may engage in one of the
numerous activities in the beautiful Victoria Falls. Later in the evening, have ample
time with your group at accommodation facility (around Victoria Falls-Zimbabwe).
Day 2-3: Victoria Falls-Hwange NP
After a delicious breakfast, head off to the Victoria Falls for a tour. The Victoria Falls
is one of the 7 wonders of the world and lies on the scenic Zambezi River that forms
the Zambia and Zimbabwe border. It is notably the largest waterfalls in the world with
width measuring up to 1708m and adjacent to it, there is Victoria Falls town.
In the surrounding areas, you can engage in plenty of adventures including micro
lighting, bungee jumping, white water rafting, kayaking, scenic flights and more. After
great moments at the falls, we cross to Hwange National Park –one of the finest
wildlife safari parks in Africa. This is where you will enjoy wilderness game drives. At
Hwange, plenty of wildlife will be spotted including zebras, buffaloes, elephants, and
a huge population of giraffes. If you are interested in predators, endemic species and
birds, the full day game drive in Hwange will have you sorted.
Day 4, 5: Tour Lake Kariba

Visit Africa’s biggest man-made Lake- Kariba. This was created in the 1950s, the
time the Zambezi was dammed and today, it stands out as one of the most famous
tourist destinations. Stretching over 200 km, Lake Kariba features plenty of aquatic
life such as hippos, crocodiles, fish and water birds. The following day, you will have
the best of an afternoon sunset cruise on this charming man-made Lake while
viewing several of its aquatic life.
Day 6-7: Explore Matobo Hills (Zimbabwe’s Park)
A delicious breakfast and you head off to the majestic Matobo Hills –a charming area
with ancient mystery and breathtaking rock landscapes. Matobo NP is a designated
UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to abundant wildlife including both white and
black rhinos, the largest leopard population, sable antelopes, birds especially eagles.
It was once home to Bushman and contains unique rock art. On day 7, you will be
exploring the National Park on a memorable morning rhino tracking and afternoon
game drive. You will end the trip with a tour in Rhodes’ grave.
Day 8-9: Explore the Great Zimbabwe Ruins
Leave the comfort of your accommodation for 2-day expedition in Zimbabwe ruins
lying near Masvingo. These ruins are believed to have been constructed to replicate
the palace of the Queen of Sheba in Jerusalem. Zimbabwe ruins occupy over 1800
acres and they some of the ancient and biggest structures found in Southern Africa.
Day 9: Harare
Set off for Harare to chill at the safari lodge. When you arrive, there are plenty of
experiences to enjoy including game walk, game drive or horseback riding.
Day 10-11: Mana pools
Hit the road to Chirundu where you will have a boat transfer to Mana Pools National
Park. This is the most beautiful and flourishing areas in Zimbabwe, the country’s 2 nd
designated UNESCO Sites and one of Africa’s leading game viewing destinations.
The following day (day 11), you will engage in a number of wildlife related
experiences like guided walks, game drives and more.
Day 12 to 13: Enjoy the panoramic views of Lake Kariba

Drive to your favorite lodge for a relaxed afternoon. Have great time in the pool while
viewing Lake Kariba or indulge in a number of activities on the Lake including fishing.
Day 14: Leisure time at safari lodge outside Harare
Transfer to one of the most comfortable lodges outside Harare preferably Pamuzinda
Safari Lodge which is about one hour’s drive away. Have a relaxed afternoon at the
lodge.
Day 15: Departure at Harare Airport
After a delicious breakfast, drive to Harare International Airport for departure. This
marks the end of the 15 Days Grand Zimbabwe Safari.
